Manitoba regulates registration, installation, replacement, modification and use of onsite wastewater systems under M.R. 83/2003. Certified installers and registered sewage haulers are part of the program.

Important requirementThe regulation applies below 10,000 litres per day and includes special limits for sensitive areas. The current consolidation includes amendments registered in 2025.
